Welcome to
Rooms with a View 2026!

For more than three decades, Rooms with a View has celebrated the power of design and its power to inspire, educate, and transform.

This year Rooms with a View proudly presents:
The Enduring Influence of British Design

Few countries have had a greater impact

on the way Americans live, decorate, and think about their homes than Great Britain. For centuries, British designers, architects, craftsmen, and gardeners have shaped an aesthetic that values beauty, comfort, craftsmanship, and a deep respect for history. From the great English country house to the modern townhouse, British interiors have long balanced elegance with livability—creating spaces that feel layered, collected, and deeply personal.

Today, that influence is stronger than ever. A new generation of British designers is redefining tradition, blending classical architecture with contemporary living, inspiring homeowners and design enthusiasts around the world.

This November, Rooms with a View is honored to welcome an extraordinary group of British talent.

Joining The Class of 2026 are three acclaimed
UK designers:

Henriette von Stockhausen, Tom Cox & Henry Prideaux

Our lecture series will also feature some of Britain's most respected voices in design and architecture, including:

Ben Pentreath

is one of Britain's leading architects, urban designers, and interior designers, whose work has become synonymous with timeless classical design.

Simon Upton

is an internationally celebrated photographer whose images have defined the pages of the world's leading shelter magazines and documented many of the most beautiful homes ever created.

We are in discussion with several additional British designers and authors whose participation would further enrich this year's exploration of British design.

Throughout the weekend, visitors will experience beautifully imagined interiors inspired by British style while exploring conversations about architecture, decoration, gardens, craftsmanship, and the enduring relationship between British and American design.

From timeless country houses and carefully tended gardens to richly layered interiors and the craftsmanship that defines them, this year's show celebrates a design tradition that continues to inspire generations of designers on both sides of the Atlantic.
