Hospitality Hits Home

This year hospitality hits home as Christian Arkay-Leliever and his team will be crafting an architectural interior element within the built environment of Southport Congregational church’s chapel, The Hadley.  This structure within the chapel will act as a pop-up experiential space for guests to enjoy moments of respite, sharing and learning, along with omnipresent inspiration, hospitality (food and beverage) and entertainment.  

This is space that transforms itself from morning to evening simply through by the guests themselves and through the hospitality and programming at any given time.  The Hadley will be an environment infused by elements that evoke one’s feelings and tantalized one senses through light, sight, sound, taste, touch, movement and smell.

Fifth State Distillery will be showcasing their newly released ready-to-drink cocktails (Espresso Martini, Bee’s Knees, Chocolate Old Fashioned. They will also have on hand their Gold Medal Gins, Chocolate XS and Limoncello Liqueurs.

CHRISTIAN P. ÁRKAY-LELIEVER

Christian P. Árkay-Leliever, renowned hospitality designer, has received international recognition for his creative lead in the fields of product, exhibit, and hospitality design.  His imagination and inspirations, transform brands into experiences.  He crafts an emotional connection between the consumer, brand and environment in which they exist; through creativity, innovation and hospitality. 

Innovation through inspiration Christian P. Árkay-Leliever received his Masters from “Pratt Institute” in New York City. He brings refinement and hospitality to brand experiences. Working as the Director of Strategic Innovation for world renowned architecture firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, he had the opportunity to develop his talent for innovation and collaboration amongst many leading companies such as Philips, Hansgrohe and Herman Miller. Having lead the products team at Rockwell Group, Christian merged the power of craft, innovation and production techniques to develop many award winning experiences in products and environments. He has an ability to not only create solutions but to monetize them and offer value, which is key to success today. Christian P. Árkay-Leliever has authored several patents and much of his work has been featured in shows and publications throughout the world.Christian now is founder and creative director for Árkay-Leliever, LLC. based in CT.
